2023 Presidency: Atiku visits Gov. Wike as he continues shopping for running mate

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has paid a visit to the Governor of Rivers State, Barr. Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, as he continues to search for a running mate ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

This is coming after Governor Wike lost the PDP Presidential Primary election to him last Saturday.

It was also learnt that Atiku has been reaching out to party leaders and his political associates as he begins to look hard at names being suggested to him as running mates.

His visit to Wike, however, will undoubtedly heighten speculations, with continuous calls from different quarters urging him to pick the Rivers State governor as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
