Nigerian skit-maker cum artiste, Carter Efe, has reacted to the allegations by street-hop singer, Portable that he “stole” Young Duu from him.
It was reported earlier that the Zeh Nation founder accused Carter Efe of taking his artiste from his music label before his contract expired.
He made the claim after Young Duu who recently left Zeh Nation, released a collaborative song titled ‘Oyinmo’ with the skit-maker.
Reacting via an Instagram live session with fans, Portable alleged that Efe was using his former signee, Young Duu to “blackmail” him because he is about to drop his album.
He said, “Hello, Carter Efe dem know say I don post my album na e make dem dey blackmail me. Dem dey use my boy, Young Duu dey enter me.
“Boy that I bought into the industry and took like my son, they’ve stolen him from me. This world is a wicked place.”
But in a swift response, the online comedian said Portable “is dum”, and noted that unlike the Zazuu star, he would not go all out for Young Duu.
Speaking during an Instagram live session, the ‘Machala’ crooner vowed to shock Portable by making sure his former signee is successful in the music industry.
Efe said: “Portable is dum… I will make sure say Young Duu will be successful. Young Duu dey drop EP next time. I go shock you, Portable. E go shock you well.”
