Rema 02 Arena Burna Boy

Popular Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema, has given accolades to his senior colleague, Burna Boy ahead of his sold out O2 Arena concert.

Two years ago, Burna Boy invited the ‘Calm Down’ crooner to perform on stage during his own concert at the O2 Arena in London.

In a post on his Twitter page moments before mounting the stage to headline his own show at the prestigious arena on November 14, 2023, Rema took a moment to acknowledge the role Burna Boy played in his journey as a musician.

In a heartfelt message, he expressed his gratitude to the self acclaimed African Giant for motivating him and wished he were present to share the moment.

He noted that today (Tuesday) was his turn to have and ‘conquer’ his own show at the event centre which is the dream of many rising artistes.

Rema wrote; “Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage 2 years ago. Today it’s my turn to conquer that same stage and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation. With love, Rema.❤
