Donald Trump’s Twitter account with over 85 million followers has been disabled by Twitter after the unrest which claimed the lives of five people at the US Capitol building.
This comes after he made a tweet declaring his plans of not attending the inauguration of Joe Biden.

In a short statement, Twitter revealed its reason for suspending the account of Trump. It reads;
“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,”
