I was offered N3m to lie against Mohbad’s wife – Uche Maduagwu

Controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu, has claimed that he was offered the sum of N3 million to pin the death of late rapper, Mohbad on his grieving wife, Omowunmi.

He stated this in a video while recounting how he was contacted to propagate a tale alleging that the woman had something to do with her husband’s death and he was to ask her to do a DNA test on Mohbad’s kid.

According to Maduagwu, someone approached him and said he will be paid N3 million in exchange for spreading the falsehood that Mohbad’s wife was involved in paternity fraud and the singer’s death.

The actor, however, revealed that he declined the mouthwatering offer without hesitation because he was not a friend or family member of the late Mohbad to levely such hefty allegations.

Uche Maduagwu then concluded that the same person who wanted to pay him 3 million naira must have approached other online personalities to spread the fake narrative of Mohbad’s wife being a key suspect and seeking a DNA test.

Uche Maduagwu, a social critic called out veteran actor, Pete Edochie over his statement about the high rate of divorce amongst Nollywood actresses.

Speaking in an interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Edochie said the number of actresses that have left their marriages is disturbing. He used the failed unions of Chioma Chukwuka, Tonto Dikeh, Ireti Doyle as examples.

But his comment provoked Uche Maduagwu who told him to focus on his child, Yul Edochie, who is currently having a marital crisis after taking a second wife.

The social media commentator said the legendary actor should bother more about his son’s woes and behavior instead of talking about other people’s problems.
