“I was working as a mechanic before comedian Sydney Talker discovered and signed me – singer Khaid shares grass-to-grace story” (Video)

Fast-rising Nigerian artiste, Khaid has disclosed that he formerly used to work as a mechanic before popular Nigerian comedian, found and signed him.

He made this disclosure in a recent podcast interview, where he shared his grass-to-grace story.
The ‘Jolie’ crooner whose real name is Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon said on the podcast that he was discovered by popular skit maker Sydney Talker through Instagram, where he normally posted his freestyle videos.
Narrating how he got signed, Khaid said that after receiving the DM from Sydney, he was invited to his house and he recorded about 5 trap songs in his in-house studio.
He noted that it was when he was about to leave that Sydney told him ‘you’re signed’. And that was how he ended up as the first artiste to be signed to Neville Records.
Khaid also disclosed that he was working as a mechanic before he received the DM from Sydney Talker.
