As a blogger, one of the ministerial appointments that will be of paramount interest to me and obviously all bloggers and content creators in Ghana is the occupant of the ministry of Tourism, Arts And Culture.
As Nana Akufo Addo gets into action to serve in his second term after his successful investiture on January 7, 2021, some people have begun lobbying for their favourite personalities and we have managed to sample some of the dominant names on the lips of almost everyone.
Don’t forget ministry which was first created by former President John Mahama in 2013, had Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare and Dzifa Abla Gomashie as the Minister and Deputy respectively.
See the suggested list below;
Bice ‘Obour’ Osei Kuffour – former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and 2020 NPP parliamentary aspirant at the Asante Akyem South constituency.
Catherine Ablema Afeku – former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture
Akwasi Agyemang – Chief Executive Office of the Ghana Tourism Authority
Mark Okraku-Mantey – Music producer and President of the Creative Arts Council
Juliet Asante – Filmmaker and Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority
Kojo Frimpong – broadcast journalist
Kwabena Okyere Darko – Member of Parliament for the Takoradi constituency
James Korsah Brown – talent manager and 2020 NPP parliamentary candidate for Mfantseman Constituency.
Which these people would be given the opportunity to serve the tourism, arts, and culture sectors as minister(s)?
