Seven Top Artists 19-Year-Old P.Priime Has Worked With

Published

By the time he turned 16, P.Priime (real name, Peace Aderogba Oredope) had already produced songs for top guys like Fireboy and Cuppy.

The kid became a sensation in 2020 when he became the most sought-after beat-maker in the whole metropolis.

Best known for his work with Olamide, it would interest you to know that P.Priime has worked with a host of other top artists and is actually one of the most prolific at the moment.

P.Priime is an alumnus of The Sarz Academy where he learned the ropes. Here are seven artists you probably didn’t know P.Priime has worked with.

1. Wizkid

Granted, P.Priime was nowhere near the original “Made in Lagos” production as that was primarily handled by Wizkid’s main producers like P2J, Legendury Beatz, and Sarz.

But by the time Wizkid was back in town working on the deluxe edition, P.Priime had become such a force to be reckoned with that Wizkid couldn’t ignore the work the guy’s putting in.

P.Priime is the brain behind the “Anoti” track on WizKid’s “Made in Lagos” deluxe.

2. Peruzzi

Besides creating “Cho Cho” for Zlatan, this is the closest P.Priime has come to working with Davido. And although that is only a matter of time, doing stuff for Peruzzi is crazy too. He means he’s not that far off.

He produced Peruzzi’s popular 2020 hit song with Fireboy, “Southy Love.”

3. Zlatan

P.Priime has been working with Zlatan since 2018, working on such hit songs as “Gelato,” “Unripe Pawpaw,” and even much recently, “Lagos Anthem.”

These are songs that you can’t imagine without their instrumentals and P.Priime did the job. Priime was one of the principal producers on Zlatan’s debut album, “Zanku.”

4. Reekado Banks

Reekado Banks is back and you can thank P.Priime for that. First off, a song like “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” it’s hard to imagine the instrumental going a different direction.

P.Priime didn’t only do “Ozumba Mbadiwe” off Reekado’s “OTR Vol. 2” but also the groovy “Lupita Nyongo.”

5. Olamide

This list, of course, will be lost without Olamide, if we’re being honest.

Because how does a new kid like Priime get to do seven out of the twelve songs on an Olamide album? Even Pheelz doesn’t get that kind of slot these days. But he did.

Creating the best tracks on the album for Olamide, you can tell Baddo is still going to work with the guy again.

6. Teni

Teni’s debut album might not be the hit that “Made in Lagos” was, but hey, is any album?

P.Priime came through on four or five tracks on the album and did his thing again. Besides, say, Pheelz, I think we can say he made some of the best songs on the album.

7. Asa

This one is a total shock, really. There are definitely guys, veterans, on a line queueing to work with someone like Asa, and on her first Afrobeats outing, she chose to just work with P.Priime.

That in itself is one of the biggest honors in this industry. P.Priime really be doing the most.
