Bob Le Sueur was a British humanitarian. A resident of Jersey, he was awarded an MBE for his services in assisting escaped Russian prisoners, in Jersey, during the Nazi Occupation of the Channel Islands.
Historian Bob Le Sueur, who lived on Jersey when the island was held by German troops in World War Two, has died at 102.
He helped numerous escaped Russian slave laborers during the Occupation. He said that because of his extensive travels as an older man, made him much more appreciative of the lives he had saved.
