Davido is the most supportive Nigerian artiste – Jaywon

Nigerian musician, Jaywon has given accolades to Grammy nominated singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido, for being supportive.

He revealed that Davido is the most accessible and supportive artiste among his colleagues in the Nigerian music industry.

Jaywon penned the thoughtful words as celebratory messages continue to flood in from colleagues and fans in celebration of OBO’s 31st birthday. According to the ‘This Year’ crooner, other music stars do not help rising and promising artistes as much as Davido does.

Jaywon further said that the fans of other celebs don’t benefit in any way from their favourite stars and all they do is to blindly follow.

He wrote; “Somebody go come talk say you only love David because he is accessible lol but he’s the most supportive artist in the game. Your favorite that are not accessible no Dey help anybody na so so follow follow their followers Dey follow. Nothing to show for it lol. Thank you my bro David …”

He took to Twitter and recounted how the DMW boss informed him about an alleged decision by Sony Music to take him off a song.

It may be recalled that Davido signed a record deal with Sony Music in 2016, but later said he decided to leave them because they did not align with his vision.

According to Zamorra, when the label asked OBO to take his verse off a single, he refused to give in to their request. Alhough he did not mention the title of the song in question or whether it has been released, the up and coming singer said that event made him emotional.

He tweeted; ”Davido told me, “Sony wanted to take out your verse, but I told them no, we rise by lifting others” , water drop from my eyes! What a MAN. As I dey reason everything now, I just realize say, DAVIDO ISNT HUMAN! He’s a celestial being!”
