The body of late Nigerian singer Mohbad has finally been exhumed today, September 21st, 2023 by the Police at Ikorodu in Lagos State.
TopCityVibe Recall few days ago, the Lagos State police command disclosed that they are yet to exhume Mohbad’s body because they waiting for paperwork to be completed with the state Ministry of Health, which will be part of the investigation process.
Following the exhumation, the remains of late Mohbad has been taken to the hospital where autopsy will commence immediately.
Mohbad died on September 12 in controversial circumstances. He was buried the next day, September 13.
Nigerians demanded that an autopsy be carried following the startling revelations of him being harassed and assaulted while he was alive.
The Lagos state police command on Monday, September 19, set up a 13-man committee to carry out a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.
The committee is expected to turn in its report in two weeks.
