A young man identified as Austin Funds has asked Nigerian singer, Lyta to sell his official Instagram account to him so that he can use it for cyber fraud also known as yahoo yahoo.
The suspected yahoo boy believes that Lyta no longer has a budding music career so he feels it would be better to sell off his accounts.
The 25-year-old musician previewed a new song to his over 550,000 followers on TikTok and over 2 million followers on Instagram. Austin took to the comment section on TikTok and noted he does not see what the former YBNL artiste is singing anymore.
Austin wants to use the account to ‘b0mb’ – a slang for scamming – so he offered buy the account from Lyta but did not mention an amount.
“Lyta sell your IG for me make I use b0mb… I no see wetin you dey use sing again,” he wrote.

In the four DMs he posted on his Twitter page, each of the individuals made very strange requests, with two being about money and the other two focusing on sexual intimacy.
The one that caught attention of netizens the most was that of someone asking Joeboy for money so that he can become a cyber fraudster commonly known as Yahoo boy. He specifically begged for N500,000 which he will use to buy a laptop and start the fraudulent business.
