She is of Swedish nationality and is of black ethnicity. Blondell made her screen debut in the 2005 season of the SVT program Livet enligt Rosa. The following year, she won a job in an episode of the police drama Beck and a recurrent role in the soap opera Andra avenyn after working for a period as a VJ with MTV Sweden.
